About Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU)

Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU) was established by Govt. of Uttarakhand through the Uttarakhand Technical University Act 2005 on 27th January 2005. Uttarakhand Technical University campus is situated in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. UTU consists of three constituent and 118 affiliated colleges with 50,000 students in various subjects. UTU in bachelor degree courses offers B.Tech, B.Pharma, B.Arch, BHMCT, and LLB and in case of master degree programs, it offers MBA, MCA, M.Pharma, and M.Tech. For admission in UTU, the candidate has to give Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam (UKSEE). In case of admission in MBA courses candidates have to appear MBA Entrance Examination UTU PGEE. The University is serving the technical education through its progress monitored each semester, part-time Ph.D. program specially designed for the teachers and scientists by giving them the opportunity to explore the untouched area of the research.

Uttarakhand Technical University Exam Time Table / Date Sheet

All the students of Uttarakhand Technical University those who belongs to Bachelors Degree Annual Exams to be held in March / April 2019, you are suggested to submit your examination application notification along with the fee at your respective college office on or before the last date (If you didn’t submit yet). UTU has released the exam timetable for all Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses offered at UTU campus & its affiliated colleges. Students can check their course & semester-wise timetable by following the official website of the University. Students are strictly advised to verify their exam schedule from respective Uttarakhand Technical University affiliated college once the timetable is uploaded officially to avoid the last-minute inconvenience. Uttarakhand Technical University Admit cards 2019 Examinations for Undergraduate/ Postgraduate courses will begin shortly at the examination centers allotted by the Uttarakhand Technical University. The detailed Examination events/ exam dates/ Exam center & Roll no shall be mentioned in the Exam Admit cards. Uttarakhand Technical University Summer 2019 Admit cards shall be anticipated through university website 2 weeks preceding to Exams.

The admit card for Uttarakhand Technical University Examination 2019 is issued. The download process of admit card will be done in two-phase. Firstly, the admit card will be issued for those students who submitted their application form without the late fee. After that admit card will be issued for those students who submitted their application form against a late fee. Uttarakhand Technical University Admission 2019

Uttarakhand Technical University provides four professional courses as part of their UG program. B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharm, and BHMCT are the UG professional courses offered by UTU. The B.Tech program offers a variety of specializations for the Students to choose from.

The minimum eligibility criterion for all these programs is 12th (10+2) with the relevant subjects. Students can also join B.Tech and B.Pharm in the second year as a lateral entry.

Admission into B.Tech requires the Students to clear the JEE Main whereas, for B.Tech lateral entry, Students must have cleared the UTU entrance examination, UKSEE. For B.Pharm and BHMCT, Students will have to clear Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination, UKSEE. The B.Arch program doesn’t require any entrance examination, rather merit in the qualifying examination.

UTU also offers the following UG and integrated courses. B.Sc., B.C.A, B.B.A, B.F.D, B.F.T, B.A. L.L.B, B.B.A L.L.B, L.L.B, and L.L.M are the main programs offered under the Undergraduate Professional scheme.  

Students only need to have completed 12th (10+2) with relevant subjects. There is no entrance examination for these programs, the selection will be on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination.

Uttarakhand Technical University offers post graduate courses in M.Tech, M.Pharm, M.C.A, and M.B.A.

The minimum eligibility to apply for the M.Tech and M.Pharm programs is graduation in the relevant field. While M.B.A accepts any graduation, M.C.A requires either graduation in science or B.C.A/B.B.A/B.Tech.

Admission to M.Tech needs either a valid GATE score or the Students must clear the UKSEE. M.Pharm also requires the Students to either have a valid GPAT score or clear UKSEE. It should be noted that during the admission, Students with valid GATE /GPAT scores will be given preference. Both M.C.A and M.B.A Students will have to clear UKSEE.

Online Exam Form of UTU

The application form of Uttarakhand B.Tech admission 2019 will tentatively be released by Uttarakhand Technical University in the last week of June 2019. Before filling the application form, the Students have to pay the counseling cum application fee and register themselves. While registering and filling the application for of  Uttarakhand B.Tech admission 2019, the Students have to enter their personal details and details related to their educational background.

All the registration forms can be downloaded from the University website. The application process is online. For courses that require the UKSEE qualification, students need to register for the entrance test on the website by following these steps:
